Chromotherapy was very important in traditional medical practices in such great cultures as those in China, India and Classical Greece.

Lack of light has a clear, negative effect on our metabolism and our state of mind, for human beings are nourished by light, and need its luminous spectrum for wellbeing, balance and vital harmony.

Sunlight deficiency, similar to malnutrition, can be caused by lack of a colour, causing physical and emotional imbalances and/or mood swings.
Photons of different frequencies act on our deepest nature, activating specific atomic and molecular electrons to help generate biochemical processes that are essential for life.

Colour as a carrier of information

Our balance and harmony are identified with the colour white: this is the colour of light, of expansion, of fullness, the height of wellbeing.

White light is the sum of three primary colours. Lack of or deficiency in one or more colours can cause a feeling of illness and disharmony wellbeing and harmony. HIDROCROM's hydrochromotherapy programmes enhance wellbeing and balance by restoring the positive effects of the different colours to our body.

The HIDROCROM system is based on scientific colour theory:

From the broad spectrum colour white, created by a combination of the three primary colours: red, green and blue (RGB), one is subtracted to create the three subtraction colours: Emerald (blue + green), Yellow (red + green) and Violet (red + blue); finally, we add the missing complementary primary colour.

By modulating light and colour at constant, specific rhythms, the Ramon Soler HIDROCROM system creates three chromotherapy programmes whilst reducing times, saving water and increasing the harmonising effect of colour.

Using water is essential, it carries the light and enhances its information, turning the daily shower into an experience as enjoyable as it is beneficial.

PROGRAMME 3
Play Bath (Wide spectrum, Rainbow)

Recreating the patterns found in nature, ordering the colours according to the rainbow to help us transform our state of mind and turn the bathroom into a place for play.
As its name indicates, the Play Bath programme plays with light and colour to enhance our sense of optimism and feeling of wellbeing. The programme takes 80 seconds to complete, and the sequence can be repeated several times in order to enhance its beneficial effects.

Exposure to single set colours

The HIDROCROM shower enables the user to set exposure to the different colours for up to 15 minutes at a time.

The user should exercise prudence in using fixed colours over prolonged periods. Exposure to fixed colours should not be too prolonged, and combining colours according to the HIDROCROM programme ensures that the effects are beneficial for balance and harmony. Generally speaking, we can say that warm colours stimulate our internal processes, whilst cold colours calm them, slowing them down.

Precautions:

Consult your doctor before use if you have or suspect you may have certain illnesses such as, for example: epilepsy, photofobia, severe eye trouble, balance disorders, severe anxiety disorders or any other severe physical or mental illness.

The body's response to any stimulus may vary. If you feel any debilitating effects, we recommend that you stop using the appliance and/or consult a specialist doctor.

AUDIO TRANSMITTER

Ref. 32103 "HCM" includes an audio transmitter that can transmit audio from any system (CD, MP3, Radio, TV, etc) to the HIDROCROM shower loudspeakers.
Under normal conditions, the transmitter range is around 20m.

SAFETY
The HIDROCROM shower uses an 18v current, completely guaranteeing personal safety.
A 220v/18v transformer is supplied for installation at the appropriate distance, according to regulations in the respective country.

ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION
Electricity consumption is approximately 25 w light bulb.
The LED light bulb life is approximately 100,000 hours: the equivalent of 60 years for intensive and collective use and 1,000 years for private domestic use.

WATER SAVING

The HIDROCROM shower consumes 12 l/min at 3 bar (high presure).
Maximum consumption is limited to 15 l/min regardless of pressure.
For the purpose of comparison, a sprinkler of the same size consumes an average 18 - 20 l/min.
Recommended pressure: between 1.5 and 5 bar (high presure).

GUARANTEE AND MAINTENANCE

The HIDROCROM shower is guaranteed for two years against all manufacturing defects (see general sales conditions)
It requires minimal maintenance.
Internal part of sprinkler easy to clean.
Should any part become broken, full, easy-installation kits are supplied. All these points are clearly specified in the Technical Manual which accompanies the product.
